1) What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is an international organization of service clubs for men and women aged 18-30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace.


2) What is the Rotaract Club of Singapore West & what do you do?

The Rotaract Club of Singapore West is a community-based Rotaract Club and is sponsored the Rotary club of Singapore West. Through the Rotaract program, members not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.

Some examples of our past activities:

  • Organize community service projects that benefit the underprivileged
    e.g. conduct workshops for inmates in prison
    e.g. organize activities for the elderly
    e.g. bring children from Children’s Homes to Malaysia for a leadership camp

  • Host overseas Rotaractors e.g. from Malaysia and Thailand
  • Learn skills through Professional Development workshops
  • Attend District events and assemblies
  • Have lots of fellowship and fun!
