This year’s Rotaract District Conference (RDC) was held in conjunction with the annual Zonal Bowling on 19th May to 20th May 2012. The Zonal Bowling was organized by Rotaract Club of Singapore West together with the District Team. We were honoured to have District Governor Haji Zainie to be our Guest of Honour for the opening ceremony at Yishun Safra.
A total of 5 members and 1 guest represented Rotaract Club of Singapore West in the Zonal Bowling and we are proud to say that we emerged as the runner-up in the Zonal Bowling.
After the Zonal Bowling, we went to Sembawang Camp Challenge for the official RDC programme. A series of games and interactive sessions were organized to bond the people from different clubs together. At the end of the session on the last day, participants gave their feedback on the overall programme so that next year’s RDC will be better.
Overall, I had a fun time participating in the RDC and Zonal Bowling as I’ve not only made new friends through this programme but also gain more knowledge about Rotaract. Can’t wait for next year’s RDC which seems to be more promising!!!
