Archeology workshop

Description:

Local Archaeologist Chen Sian Lim and Noel, a Masters graduate in the Arts will be hosting the workshop.

The objective of the workshop is to increase public awareness on the local Archaeological Scene as well as reviving the interest in the History of Singapore, going beyond learning history with textbooks.

1) Singapore History Museum
- Introduction to Archaeology Talk (30 min)
- Quick tour of the Singapore History Museum Gallery (20 min)
2) Fort Canning Walking Tour
- Visit to archaeological site (30 min)
- Walking tour of Fort Canning (20 min)
3) Tour to Asian Civilizations Museum (Unguided)
- we can end our day at the ACM and let the participants visit at their leisure. Alternatively, I can try to arrange for a guide.

All these are within walking distance, walking time is about 30 mins total.
