World Rotaract Week

Dear Members, friends and guests of RAC Singapore West, this week marks an important chapter in Rotaract's history.

That is because World Rotaract Week falls on the week of 13 March in honor of the chatering of the first Rotaract club in North Carolina, USA in 1968. As some of you may know, the name Rotaract means "Rotary in Action".

In short, Rotaract clubs around the world strive to fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace. I strongly believe that everyone who is involved in this wonderful organisation has make a difference to the lives of the people through the many activites and community service projects within Rotaract and Rotary.

Nonetheless, Rotaract has many to offer to all of us but it can only begins with you and how much you want to contribute to help the society.

In conjuction with World Rotaract Week, our club together with RAC NUS will be having our annual community service project with IMH on 26 March, Saturday this year. If you wish to make a difference to the life of a stranger, feel free to join us on 26 March.
